Light Up To Learning
The work of Light Up To Learning has ranged from small workshops held in local schools, to full-day sessions hosted at the Bromley Court Hotel.
During 2005, workshops were held at Downderry and Forster Park Primary Schools. They were run in partnership with Kidscape and explored different areas, such as anti-bullying practice and the transition from primary to secondary school.
These workshops supported the full-day sessions held by Light Up To Learning at the Bromley Court Hotel. There have been several successful sessions run over the last couple of years. Community Education Lewisham has also been involved, providing help and advice on family learning and training.
The full-day session held in September 2005 looked at Transition. Parents of Year 6 children were invited, with places monitored through the schools. (More information about Transition)
