Blackheath
Conservatoire of Music
Haseltine, Coopers Lane, Downderry, Merlin,
Torridon Juniors and Forster Park schools received 10 half-day sessions
each from the Blackheath Conservatoire of Music, who provided high-quality
music tuition for children at Key Stage 2 and helped develop teaching
staff’s use of music across the curriculum.
They also received £1,000 for musical instruments
to support this project.

Freelance
Teacher
Sally McPherson, a freelance teacher supported
six schools, helping to build confidence in teaching music and working
with staff who want to use music to deliver the curriculum. This
took the form of a day a week's support for half a term. The schools
involved were Good Shepherd, Elfrida and Rushey Green.
They also received £1,000 for musical instruments
to support this project.
